Stacy Schwartz–
Stacy has been drawing and painting since her early childhood. She is an award-winning artist, known mostly for her paintings and drawing, but her skills and talents don’t stop there… Stacy graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a major in graphic design and fine arts, plus her teacher certification.
Her first career was as an art teacher. She worked at a charter school for the performing arts creating their art program from the ground up, teaching Fine Arts to over 650 students from grades K– 12. She also built and taught Set Designs for an after school art program, in which the props, traveling set, and some times even the stage would be packed up and shipped to another location to be used in the school’s performances.
She is the founder of Murals Incorporated. In January 2001, She began her career painting murals for a few close friends and family. Her business grew rapidly through word of mouth. Many customers couldn’t resist showing off their new one-of-a-kind art works to their friends who then want something special unique of their own home or business. Stacy has been wowing people with her murals all over South Eastern Michigan and special projects around the country as well.
Dan Schwartz–
Dan is an award winning computer programmer and animator, contracted out by many private companies for his skills and talent. His multiple awards include an ‘Emmy’ for his artistry in graphic design, computer programming and animation use in Channel 4’s national feed of the “America’s Thanksgiving Parade.” It was such a showstopper the network used it 6 times over. This guy can do it all.
He is known throughout the hobby industry for his own designs of electric powered radio controlled model airplanes and gyro copters that he sells as easy to assemble kits from his website <www.foamfly.com>.
But to Murals Incorporated he is known for his skills with a ‘CNC Router.’ This handy guy is capable of designing and creating anything from cabinetry, to furniture, signs, decorative paneling, Name puzzles, and so much more.
Amanda Schwartz–
Amanda is the newest member to the creative team, joined on in January 2006.
Her most recent accomplishment is a piece of not-so-fine-art she created with a ball-point-pen on her mother’s leather car seat. Not her best work, but one to be remembered. Her favorite medium to work with is food. Yogurt, peas, really anything will do. It’s a bit of performance art meets Jackson Pollack. At the young age of 18 months she already shows a lot of promise. But until she finishes her formal training the real work is left to the grownups.
Calvin Theodore Schwartz–
Calvin is the official mascot to Murals Incorporated.
Masquerading as a tiny Chihuahua, Amanda’s canine older brother packs a big punch.
Most days he can be found curled up in a lap, or basking in a picture window in the sun. His duties entail looking out for the postman, greeting guests at the door, steering away solicitors, and most importantly relieving his owners stress at end of a long workday.
